Everything you say and do is just right
All I ever wanted was to be close to you
I never meant to cause you so much grief
As soon as we got closer
I had to go and spoil it all
I just wanted you to be mine
But I was being selfish all the time
How was I to know?
I was pushing you further and further
Until you no longer wanted to be with me
I realised much too late
Or was it down to fate?
